No one wants to have to deal with lice. Children often contract head lice around this time of year because they are back and school and in close contact with other children. Lice don’t jump or fly, so they are only spread through close contact or shared items like combs and hats. Spend the nights are another way children tend to spread these troublesome parasites.
You must treat lice as quickly possible. The longer you wait the more bugs and nits you will have to deal with. You can find a variety of treatments at your local store, but unfortunately these types of lice shampoo are made from pesticides. Do you really want to put a pesticide on your child’s head? On top of that, the chemicals in these shampoos are not very effective anymore. The lice, or super lice as some people call them, have developed a resistance. If you leave even one lice bug alive it will soon lay more nits. The nits must be removed as well or they will hatch into new bugs. Most drugstore brands don’t do anything to really address the nits.
A natural lice treatment is a much better choice. Life Organics uses a mixture of essential oils to kill lice bugs. They also have an enzyme treatment that helps make it easier to remove the nits that have attached themselves to the hair shaft. This is a much more effective and safe way to get rid of head lice.

Shampoo for Scalp Acne
Acne is bad enough when occurs on your face, but it can be even more troubling on the scalp. Acne on the scalp is itchy. The bumps are often buried below mounds of hair, making it hard to reach and treat. With the proper natural shampoo for scalp acne you can remedy this problem.
Scalp acne may be mild with a few pimples or pustules. Some cases however are more severe. Severe scalp acne can involve large pimples and even cysts. Sometimes if scalp acne is left untreated open sores will form. Severe scalp acne is more than annoying. It is often painful. Many people also find it very itchy. It can be impossible to avoid scratching. Scratching of course will only make the problem worse. Scalp Bumps may become irritated and even infected. Infected pimples can cause scaring which can even eventually lead to hair loss.
Scalp Acne
Scalp acne occurs when bacteria becomes trapped in the hair follicle. This can be caused by chemical shampoos that dry the scalp too much and cause the follicle to be left open allowing bacteria to become trapped. Many shampoos and conditioners also have a ph level that is too high. In order for the scalp to be healthy it needs to have a blanaced ph level and the proper balance of oil. A scalp that is too dry will be prone to problems as will a scalp that is too oily.
Since acne on the scalp is similar to acne on the face and other parts of the body, it may be tempting to treat it with the same products. But chemicals such as benzoyl peroxide are not appropriate for the sensitive scalp area. First of all they will only dry the scalp too much. On top of that benzoyl peroxide has been known to bleach hair. It is especially bad for color treated or chemically altered hair.
The best way to treat scalp acne is to remove the bacteria and balance the scalp. The bacteria that has built up must be removed from the root of the hair. A good scalp shampoo with zinc pca can go a long way to creating a healthy scalp. Zinc pca is a natural ingredient that can achieve these goals. It is able to gently go deep into the hair follicle to cleanse and remove bacteria. It is also capable of normalizing the scalp by regulating the sebum gland. Zinc help keep the sebum gland from over producing or under producing oil. A well balanced scalp is a healthy scalp. This is the first step to beautiful hair. For severe scalp bumps or tough scalp acne make sure to use the kit that includes a scalp lotion with zinc to help eliminate the causes of scalp bumps and scalp acne.

Link building is one of the most important things you can do for your website. A large part of the way search engines determine your ranking is based on the number of backlinks to you site. There are several ways to build links and some are more effective than others. Let’s explore some of the ways to promote your site and build links.
- Article Submission- You can publish articles for free on many article submission sites. This will give you relevant links as well as some traffic to your site.
- Directory Submission- Directory submission does not work as well as it once did, but it can still be helpful if you submit to the right directories. Yahoo directory is recognized as a quality backlink by Google, but the yearly subscription cost is $300 and you may not be approved. DMOZ is a worthy directory, but it is also hard to get approval. BOTW is another good directory with the cost of $99 per year.
- Blog Commenting- In order for blog commenting to be really useful you need to find quality blogs that are relative to your site. And your comments should be helpful to the readers if you want to have the comments approved.
- Press Releases- This can be helpful if you can find a good list of press release sites to submit to.
- Social Media and Web 2.0 Pages- These are sites like Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger, and Wordpress.com where you can publish your articles with the keywords hyperlinked to you site. This is another good way to get quality relevant back links.
These are great ways to build valuable links to your site with little or no cost to you.

One of the most asked questions about marketing your site is how to get relevant and cheap or even free links. The answer is article marketing. But wait- before you go and start hitting every article marketing site on the web understand that not all sites actually allow the right kind of links.
For example many of the article sites online use no follow links. This means that the search engines don’t give any credit to the link. Yes – people can still click through but one of the main reasons that people submit articles is to get the link popularity as well as the anchor text from that site. If you submit your article to a site that uses no follow links then ultimately you only get the marketing from the actual click through – if there are any from the article that you wrote.
If you choose the correct sites to market your articles through then you will get all the advantages of the click throughs as well as the anchor text (used to rank your site higher for that specific keyword), link popularity (which is used to give your site more clout) and then a host of other benefits that are too c0mplex to get into here. When it comes to top rankings on Google or even Bing (since they will be supplying Yahoo results here shortly) then you have to understand that relevance, content and link anchor text are all very important. But make sure that the sites that you are article marketing through actually allow follow links.
